European label to improve working conditions for researchers

Awarded by the European Commission, the "HR Excellence in Research" label is based on the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers published in 2005.

This label brings together 40 principles around four main themes :
  • Ethical principles and professional responsibilities
  • Recruitment, career development, mobility
  • Working and safety conditions, professional environment
  • Training
The aim is to improve the quality of HR practices, as well as the working conditions of lecturers and researchers, while enhancing the attractiveness of these professions.

It is an important asset in the context of calls for European projects.
